• Tricare

TRICARE is the health care program for uniformed service members, retirees, and their families around the world. All TRICARE-eligible female beneficiaries with a birth event are able to receive a breast pump, fully covered by Tricare. A birth event includes a pregnant beneficiary or a female beneficiary who legally adopts an infant and intends to personally breastfeed. You can get these items before or after the baby’s delivery, depending on your doctors office. It doesn’t matter what TRICARE plan you use (TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Standard, USFHP, TRICARE Reserve Select, etc.) or your sponsor’s status (active duty, retired, Guard/Reserve).
