They have a client portal so you can write them at any time if you have any questions, etc. Liz also came and met me on her time to be there for me when my little boy had his tongue and lip tie revised. I cannot thank tidewater lactation and Amy and Liz enough for their amazing support. Amy has been so educational with me. This is my third breastfeeding journey and she has taught me so much, along with helped me tremendously with my journey. I have never experienced lactation consultants being so devoted and caring and wanting the absolute best for your journey. Thank you, thank you, for caring so much for me and my little man.

As a Doula I give them 5 stars, I had the opportunity to meet the lactation consultants and they are very sweet, full of knowledge and offer services in Spanish, which was very important to me. They really offer a lot of help to the Hispanic community, such as breastfeeding classes, consultations and help to choose your breast pump.

I first contacted Tidewater Lactation Group on our way home from the hospital after the birth of our baby girl. After so many things not going according to plan at the hospital, with breastfeeding, and just postpartum hormones, I was a bit desperate. They have been so wonderful and understanding. They were able to get me in same day. I have been twice now and have an upcoming appointment. Both times everyone there has gone far above what is necessary. After just one visit, things are going so much better for my baby girl and I. I highly recommend!

Tidewater lactation group was recommended to me by a friend. They were super easy to work with getting my insurance covered pump and are a Tricare DME so i didn’t have to worry about getting reimbursed. They billed Tricare for me.

I was recommended to this place by a nurse because I still had very painful breastfeeding with my newborn after a month. I was hesitant to see another LC after a really bad experience in the hospital with a LC but I wanted to breastfeed so bad!

I met with Taylor and she is an absolute gem and miracle worker!!! I did a total of 3 appointments (Tricare covers 6!) and my baby is latching perfectly now, I have NO pain and it feels like they always say it should now (no pain, just ‘tugging’)!! She helped me with baby’s latch, with choosing the right pacifiers and bottles, with making sure baby way gaining weight properly, with my oversupply, and she gave me tons of information that just isn’t readily available online that was also personalized to my baby and I!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ALL BREASTFEEDING MAMAS!! I tell all my friends and coworkers about it already! My husband tells all his dad friends too, for their wives!

Rhonda is the most lovely employee I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with at any establishment ever! She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and just a purely kind soul to the core. I went to Tidewater Lactation Group to order a breast pump through insurance. They have several on display and were helpful in showing me how each of them work so I could select the best one for me. Fast, easy transaction and I got my pump in just a few days. I also bought a nursing bra as they do bra fittings. Very helpful staff and a beautiful and clean office.

After my LO came I had nipple damage from a bad latch and came in for a lactation consultation. Liz was great in helping us correct our position and latch.

They offer so many services I recommend them to everyone I know!

I met with Elizabeth Flight several times and she is amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable. She helped navigate my nursing issues due to my daughter’s lip and tongue ties and it made a huge difference

Jordan skillfully identified my baby’s oral restrictions at 4 months. She went above and beyond connecting me with a great doctor to do the procedure. She also kept giving great advice in followups for both my healing and my baby’s healing. This practice sees mom & baby as a partnership!

The best way for me to describe TWLG is like walking into Sephora or an all you can eat buffet that’s actually good. They answered all my questions, fitted me with this pumping bra that feels like butter on my body with the right support. I learned things I never knew I needed to know that’s how great they are.

I had such a great experience here after seeing 3 different lactation providers at different businesses before being referred here. I almost didn’t go because I was so discouraged, but my husband encouraged me to just give it one last try. I’m so glad I did! Liz helped my son and I so much and after just one session, I already see a world of improvement. Everything she said finally made sense and I feel like she actually listened to me and my concerns were heard. Our nursing relationship has improved so much in just 1 day. I’d recommend this group to any mom struggling!

Honestly I don’t think there are even words to express the gratitude I have for everyone in this office especially Amy Taylor. I was at my
wits end with doctors and trying to figure out why my daughter wouldn’t eat or stay latched. Amy was my last hope. I remember calling defeated and I told myself this is my last resort. And so glad i went. Amy was able to give me advice on doctors for my daughters lip and tongue tie something I didn’t know existed and doctors dismissed. She sat down with me and really made me feel listened to. My daughter is now almost 3 month and she finishes her bottles, rarely cries, always awake (because she’s not using all her energy to drink her bottles), is able to turn her head both sides, and is a overall a happy baby and it’s all because Amy helped me get answers. I highly recommend tidewater lactation consultants♥️

I wish there was more stars to give. Liz helped me out so much. I was working through trauma from another LC from a different place and Liz helped me feel more confident that my pumping journey was just as important. She sat with my daughter and I, listened to my problems and gave me solutions. She also helped my daughter out so much with a tongue and lip tie and for that I will forever be thankful.
